Nassau County Couple Wins $2 Million Mega Millions Tier-Two Prize

A lucky couple from Massapequa, Nassau County, New York, recently claimed a $2 million prize from the Mega Millions lottery. They matched all five white balls in the April 15 drawing, securing the tier-two prize.

Thanks to a random multiplier introduced earlier this year, their standard $1 million prize was doubled with a 2x multiplier. The winning numbers were 06, 10, 13, 24, 63, with a Mega Ball of 02.

The couple purchased their ticket from Manya Card and Gifts in Seaford and chose to split the winnings evenly, each receiving $651,000 after taxes.

The Mega Millions jackpot continues to climb and currently stands at an estimated $140 million for the next drawing on August 1, 2025.
